Pro Rooter uses the latest high-tech equipment for locating
pipes and water leaks under ground and under concrete. Our methods
take the guesswork out of locating pipes and line breaks and
eliminates having to unnecessarily tear up your yard and property
in search of water and sewer lines. We can also use this technology
to help locate gas pipes and avoid accidentally digging into
one, if excavation is required.
There are several different methods
we use to locate pipes or underground leaks. The best way
is to emit an electromagnetic
signal from a pipe by attaching a transmitter to it and
then following the signal with a receiver. This method works
well
for metal-based pipelines, but there are also many pipes
that are made from materials that cannot be detected with conventional
methods such as plastic, clay, concrete, and insulated
cast
iron. No problem - we have methods to locate these pipes
as well! That's
